This website is the presentation of the work, interests, thinks and opinions of the man - Miroslav Kubelik, whom nick is "optik" in computer related community. My main interests in spare time are:

  • Programming (mostly C++ and PHP) and other things regarding computers
  • Running
  • Peak oil and a oncoming energy crisis
In this site you can find a list of my projects, and blog. All my projects are open source, hence you can download all source code. Blog is written in Czech language, because my simple blog system has no support for a content internationalization. If you are interested in some article, I can try translate some article into English and to republish it again.

This whole site including a simple blog system was written from scratch in PHP5 with Zend Framework. You can download whole application source package. All code is released under GNU GPL license. The application was developed for a demonstration of a power and simplicity of the PHP development with the Zend Framework.

This website is based on the open source CSS template from Mike Yarmish.
